About
We are the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) Young Professionals (YP), a group of dedicated and entrepreneurial young leaders with a desire to be involved in our community. We aim to create a network of emerging leaders that fight hunger while growing our networks of professional contacts and friends.
As a volunteer movement and official NTFB Affinity Group, we spend time volunteering with the food bank, raising and donating funds, making connections for the food bank, and anything else that benefits NTFB and our neighbors who are hungry. We also meet up for social gatherings, plan profit share events, and attend occasional NTFB leadership meetings.
Each year, we aim to offer at least 4 volunteer opportunities and up to 4 social gatherings. We also attend NTFB flagship events like Taste of the Cowboys and Empty Bowls and keep up-to-date on the most current news and info from NTFB.
